ACG recommends Bassic-Bits cables. I am always looking for products that I feel complement my own work and in Bassic-Bits cables I have found a product and a service I am more than happy to use and recommend to all ACG customers.

Hand-made cables for musicians using “best-of-breed” components.

As a semi-professional musician, now retired after a 40-year career in broadcast engineering and manufacturing, it was my personal requirements that led me into the cable business. Initially it was the quest for a short heavy-duty bass speaker cable which led me to the Klotz 4-sq.mm. sub-woofer cable. A very flexible cable with 224 individual strands per conductor, it works extremely well with bass amplifiers giving added definition and clarity to the bottom end, especially near the resonant frequency of the driver. The theorists might argue with this, but hearing is believing.

As one recent professional customer commented “when you said I'd notice the difference I wasn't really quite prepared for quite by how much...! Amazing difference.”

As well as speaker cables for bass I also assemble:

Instrument cables - Vandamme and Klotz cable, Neutrik connectors

Instrument to beltpack transmitter cables for all the popular wireless systems

Pedal board patch cables – Vandamme and Klotz cable, Amphenol connectors

Starquad microphone cables – very good for electrically hostile environments

Guitar amplifier speaker cables – 2.5-sq.mm. Klotz cable

9-volt adaptor cables for Electro Harmonix, Proco and other effects pedals that have use a 1/8-inch jack for dc input.

I aim to provide a value-for money service and the cables are all personally assembled and tested. Experience has taught me that this was the right way to go as my many satisfied customers will testify. It’s a surprise to many that this is nowhere near as expensive as it might sound.
